MEET THE RVT

Hi, I’m Marjorie

I’m a Registered Veterinary Technician with about 20 years of experience in veterinary medicine. I’ve worked in general practice, emergency and specialty care, and high-volume spay/neuter. I spent about 12 years at Codornices Veterinary Clinic in Albany, where I eventually became an RVT Supervisor, and I also worked at PETS Referral Center in Berkeley and Animal Fix Clinic in Pinole.

With Pawsome Housecalls, I’m able to bring that experience into the home and give each pet more individual attention while adjusting care to what they are comfortable with.

WHY PAWSOME HOUSECALLS

In-Home Care Should Feel Personal

Every pet responds to care differently. Some are comfortable being handled, while others may be nervous, anxious, painful, or overstimulated. I pay attention to their body language and comfort level and adjust my approach rather than forcing a procedure.

In-home care also gives me the chance to give each pet more individual attention. With older or uncomfortable pets especially, I’m mindful of their mobility, positioning, and comfort throughout the visit

What In-Home Care Looks Like

Good care also means keeping owners informed. I take time to explain what I’m doing, demonstrate treatments when needed, and make sure important information is documented clearly.

I want owners to leave feeling relieved and confident that their pet was cared for properly. When appropriate, I also communicate information back to the pet’s veterinarian so everyone has a clear picture of the care provided.
